When your mind won't switch off, your wisdom knows what to do.

A gentle, non-invasive path to nervous system reset. Release stored tension and find the silence beneath the noise.

Does any of this sound like you?

Mental 'glitches' aren't failures of character; they are simple misunderstandings of how our
psychological system functions.

Chronic Overthinking

Analyzing every detail until your mind feels
heavy, leaving you exhausted before the day
has even truly begun.

External Gravity

Feeling like a victim to your circumstances,
where your happiness is dictated by people
and events outside your control.

The Burnout Cycle

Constantly running to stand still, losing
touch with your creative spark and the quiet
joy of being present.

What is Insight Coaching in plain English

Insight or Intuitive Coaching begins with a simple idea: when you understand how your mind is shaping your experience, you have more freedom to respond differently. By combining the Three Principles with practical tools and perspectives from CBT and NLP, Insight Coaching can help you see situations more clearly, break patterns that may be holding you back and discover new ways forward.

What actually happens?

Breaking habitual language patterns and internal loops that no longer serve you.

Reframing past traumas into wisdom and growth through targeted cognitive shifts.

Creating mental 'bookmarks' for resourceful states to use in high-pressure moments.

Clear the Lens

Fogged glasses can make the whole world look unclear even though the world itself hasn't changed. Thought works the same way, colouring what you see, feel and believe in any given moment. The Three Principles helps you recognise when your view has clouded over, and trusts that clarity returns naturally as your mind settles. You're not broken, and you don't need fixing. Sometimes you simply need a clearer view.

Choose a New Route

Like a GPS stuck on an old setting, the mind can keep steering you down familiar routes — even ones that no longer take you anywhere you want to go. NLP works by identifying these patterns, clarifying where you actually want to end up, and building a new route to get there. Once the old path stops working, a shift in perspective can reveal options you couldn't see before.

Put Your Thoughts on Trial

Not every thought is a fact, and not every thought deserves your belief. CBT turns you into an investigator of your own thinking examining the evidence, questioning shaky assumptions, and weighing up other explanations. The result isn't just calmer thoughts; it's more choice over how you respond. One shift in view, one new direction, one thought tested at a time together, these approaches help you see more clearly, think more flexibly, and move forward with greater confidence.

87%

of clients report a significant reduction in chronic anxiety within the first 4 weeks.

"I spent a decade trying to 'fix' my thoughts. Within 10 week's of insight coaching, I realised there was nothing to fix, just something to understand. The relief was immediate and long lasting. Now if there is a cognitive hick-up or I just want to make sure I've understood my thought process, I'll call Jo, and we'll talk it out over the phone."

Food For Though

Different people benefit from different approaches. Sometimes a new understanding is enough to create lasting change. At other times, practical techniques such as NLP, and CBT, or integrating breath work, meditation or EFT, can help reinforce those insights and make change easier to sustain.

People don’t improve simply because they learn new techniques. They improve because they begin to see themselves and their experience differently.

Evidence Behind Insight Coaching

CBT is one of the world’s most extensively researched therapeutic approaches. In a review of 41 studies involving more than 2,800 people with anxiety-related difficulties, people receiving CBT were almost 3x more likely to improve than those receiving a placebo treatment. CBT has also been shown to help people recognise unhelpful thinking patterns, manage difficult emotions and respond to situations in healthier ways. Research into the Three Principles is newer, but the early findings are incredibly encouraging. In the UK iHEART study, 205 teenagers completed a 10-week programme and were compared with 64 students who did not take part. Those who completed the programme showed considerable improvements in wellbeing and resilience. Many teenagers also described being better able to pause and think before reacting, controlling impulsive responses, manage their emotions and recover more easily from difficult experiences.
Research into NLP is still developing but results are exciting. In one recent study, every participant experienced some reduction in depressive symptoms. Negative automatic thinking improved by 46–77%, belief in negative thoughts reduced by 33–74%, and certain measures of self-esteem improved by as much as 78%. While these findings are promising, larger high-quality clinical trials are still needed to confirm long-term effectiveness. No approach works in exactly the same way for everyone.

Our coaching combines the well-established evidence base of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with selected techniques from Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and the insight based understanding of the Three Principles. Rather than relying on a single model, we tailor each session to the individual.
